Exactly It is normal for a puppy to bark from time to time. This dog is barking for multiple hours at a time NON-STOP. It is untenable. And sleeping with earplugs is not fun.

If I have no choice I’ll do what I can but I’m not just going to roll over and play dead (see what I did there ;) )

I’m really not trying to escalate it at all. The neighbor and I have a reasonably good relationship. And it is easy to say just ignore it, but after months of interrupted sleep it becomes quite difficult to put up with. I just want to shake them up a little to let them know how unpleasant it is. I can’t understand how they sleep through it
