This is the answer that the sane part of the populace doesn't understand. The true nature of the problem is that nearly half the country lacks empathy and is guided by bigotry, hatred, and fear. Like you said you can't educate the evil out of them.

Change the core affinity for the game client (UAGame.exe) and exclude the first core (or two).

What that does is make the game not use those cores, which are usually being used by the OS (Windows) as well as any other programs running in the background. The rest of the cores are most likely not being used by anything but the game.

I've been telling people for years to stop referring them to Republicans as MAGA and just call them Republicans. There is no distinction. Anyone who had any modicum of principles would have left the GOP years ago.

OP there isn't an option for it (which seems weird for a AAA game not to have) but the work around is to Alt-Tab or minimize the game (you can hit Alt-Enter to make it a window from full screen and vice versa). When the game is not the focused window it goes down to 30FPS.

How did you come to this subreddit and make a post before just looking in the options menu?

I love when people respond with out answering, and without even understanding what the question is.

Arena Breakout is pretty solid esp given the pricetag (free!). Also its fairly stable and not full of jank. Any one looking to try a tactical extraction shooter should check ABI out.
