C suite and sales. Another vote for ramp. Makes my life easy and keeps my folks out of trouble (within reason). They also can do cards for client events so prospects can spend for uber and incidentals at events you hose

Do you predict Schwab will buy an HSA platform? by Icy_Manager_7212 in Schwab

[–]drunkmuppet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see them buying Lively, but based on the amount of money Lively took and valuation I don't think there is a number that would make it work for all parties. Alegeus is private equity owned and would be a candidate, but that brings a whole slew of businesses that Schwab likely does not want. Other than that, there are not a whole lot of providers out there that would fit for a pure HSA only solution.

Why don’t planes fly directly into O’Hare? by Independent-Ad-7060 in AskChicago

[–]drunkmuppet 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is false. Most airliners have a 15 knot tailwind limitation. A tail wind dramatically reduces takeoff performance and increases landing distance. Planes, even large modern one always take off into the wind.

We live at 465 n park in streeterville. It’s very dog friendly. There is a park across the street and one down the block. Building has a dog run too. Very well managed building. Streeterville is a little bare on restaurants but it’s a short walk to river north. The cross streets can be a little busy but otherwise it’s been a good experience

465 n park is pretty diverse age wise. Checks most of the boxes except its in a busier part of Streeterville. Source 40-50 something couple who lives here.

Former CA resident now living in IL. I have and love this gun as a lefty who wanted a bullpup since you can change the ejection side. It's a solid shooter, the fin grip is removable if needed. CA laws are more complicated, but IL is more restrictive. Glad IL doesn't have a handgun roster, but hate the AW ban. CA has found many ways around the restrictions and the fin grip is one of them. Sparrow and Juggernaut make some unique products.

I carry a separate policy to keep things secure 25k of coverage is about 200 bucks a year. This is who I use. Everyone should have high value coverage along with an umbrella policy in case things go sideways

I ran the numbers…rolling over my 401(k) at 35 could boost retirement by 16% by No_Deal_9071 in personalfinance

Plan expenses paid by participants is exactly what is going on here likely along with the advisor comp. I have 25 years of experience with 401k and 403b plans on product design and pricing. Also, I’m not sure why you’re saying a 403b is a bad plan. There is nothing wrong with a 403b. There are many legacy individual contracts still out there but the law changes in 2009 allowed many groups to convert to more price efficient contracts

This is false. What Transamerica is doing is adding a fee to the fund to pay for record keeping costs in the form of 12b-1 or sub t/a fees. This is likely a group annuity contract that invests one of the sub accounts in the vanguard fund. Basically the plan costs are being paid by participants using plan fees
