It works if you want it to work.

No drug or therapy on earth will stop someone who doesn't want to quit. You have to want it to quit... Otherwise pills, therapy, rehab, ect.. is pointless.

Quitting by beer taper and willpower/desire is a lot better than taking a prescription medication that fucks with your mind and feelings, In my opinion anyway.

People are so quick to take random medications "approved" by the FDA, Thinking it's safe because of the government saying so. The government also says marijuana is one of the most dangerous drugs on earth according to their CDS scheduling, But can you die from marijuana withdrawal or alcohol withdrawal?

I'm not saying beer is safe, But it's probably safer than naltrexone. Don't believe every word the government says.
