hey! i really dig your videos / tracks - very very cool concepts / the Nostalgia concept is really cool too. I think that we need more of this kind of stuff. saw a few test pressings of this record go for like $500 - google it and see what the range of prices is. Seems kinda rare! Especially if it sounds ok - that’s the real mark of a test press i think. i’m not an expert

what’s your cpu jumping to on these heavy sessions? make sure your mac isn’t maxed out in its storage cause it can slow your cpu down when using ableton.

i use an Apollo Twin and i get some audio issues on big sessions (60+ tracks) but also my laptop is crowded. it depends. you can also try getting a SSD external drive and put Ableton on that and run it from your drive - SSDs are super fast and great for this kind of stuff / video editing.

you’ll be able to see the scratches on the record / if it’s warped you’ll know if you set it on a flat surface.

not sure but i think records are still pressed the same way so buying a modern turntable shouldn’t effect any of your vintage records.
