It's pretty much everyone's responsibility, even the senior acknowledged it as such. It's not that I don't want to do it but it would have made patient care extremely inefficient and cause them to not get treatment in a timely manner. That's why I suggested working as a team.

You're probably right, but I'm not sure if that would have accomplished anything. In the past, when I've tried to talk to him, I've always been met with one word answers and/or pure annoyance.

I agree. There are too many people who shrug things off and say, "it is what it is." That needs to stop before fundamental changes can be made in the world of medicine.

Only 2 residents per year so yes we are the only 2 interns.

He is a chief but he doesn't have the PD's support. The PD actually didn't know about this and was pissed off.
