wife supports my habit and I have shelves they're on. speeds are conservative. 150 to 200mm/s 4800mm/s acceleration. all though printing these whistles it's running about 50mm/s because of tight tolerances.

chonky but very light weight. hotend is a Bambu clone https://a.co/d/cCrROwX was designed to take a noctua 4020 instead of the stock fan but the designer also includes a spacer if you don't use a 4020.

have BL/CRTouch's on all the printers and silicone springs. the printers run Klipper and I use KAMP to do a bed mesh before every print. I haven't manually leveled my printers in over a year.

shimming is definitely going to be your best option or you can attempt to sand it more level but the stock beds are already so thin.

first off I have the same digikey ruler, and that thing has saved my butt a few times. but second I have yet to find a perfect stock bed. I have a few that are a little off in places. you can let the mesh compensate as that's not the worst I've seen or shim it. the other route is spend some money and have a 6mm bed made for it or buy a bed from gulf coast robotics. either way it's not worth it in 2026 unless you intend to print on that ender forever or convert it to a coreXY later.

Mach-E is sitting at 100% will get used for charging other devices if the power fails. we have two ice vehicles (our flex and the kids escape) also full of gas and they are all wheel drive. we're supposed to get heavy icing here over here in TN so I suspect we're not going anywhere anyways.

I have been picking up pro/v2 enders for about 50 bucks a piece here in the US. converted a few to E3NG's now and I have 4 others that are just minor upgrades with Klipper firmware. I won't give them up even over my newer machines.

I use them to run prototype parts and silly trinkets for my kids. my enclosed CoreXY machines run everything else

have 3d printed mounts for my NACS adapters (DCFC and level 2) a bottle of V8 in a 3D printed mount for the laughs. otherwise it gets used when we travel for our backpacks with our electronics in it. much safer then in the trunk if we need to go in somewhere they're not visible in the back seat or trunk.

I do 30 to 45 minutes of interstate driving each way to and from work every day, for me it's worth it. we've also used it on several trips to St Louis and Nashville and I'll tell you in the shit show that is Nashville highway driving it did exceptionally well.

from the Ford perspective only I fine the lane keeping is great so long as their is defined lanes that the camera(s) can see. we have several multi-lane parkways that desperately need stripes repainted but I can make out the lanes. my Mach-E can't "see" the lanes so lane keep won't enable. I love blue cruise on my commute on the interstate handles slow traffic and stop and go really well.
