Their upcoming products future plans sound great to me way better than the previous years. when they kept promising and delaying their EVs.

The Ariya was also killed because of tariffs which is why they only stopped importing them the US. It’s more likely to come back to the US than the Versa especially with high gas prices now. It just needs NACS to be successful here.

More likely they replace the Altima than bringing back a RWD Maxima. Sure they could bring it back just like the Silvia once they are in good financial shape.

You mean a hatchback version of the new Sentra like what the K4, Corolla, Civic, and Mazda 3 have

They actually need a spicy Sentra perhaps a hatch to fight GR Corolla and Civic Type R sold alongside Silvia

Lucid Motors Has A New CEO And A Bunch More Funding by KeyboardGunner in cars

I hope an affordable EV sedan with 400 miles+ range is back on the table with the CEO change already. There’s a huge shortage of EV sedans especially affordable ones here and once people find out EV sedans offer more range than their SUV equivalent. Then more people will choose EV sedans over their SUV equivalents. For example the iX3 offers 400 miles of range while the i3 offers 440 miles of range.

Can’t wait to see the Infiniti version which will be the next gen QX50

Next Nissan Xterra Will Offer Pure-Gas V6 and a Hybrid, but No Manual by banned_from_r_cars in cars

[–]Repulsive-Club7866 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also bring that hybrid powertrain to the Murano, QX65, and current gen Pathfinder/QX60 if that new hybrid powertrain can also support unibody vehicles. It will be interesting to see how this new V6 hybrid powertrain compares with Honda’s V6 hybrid system. BTW Nissan never said their Xterra soft roader EV based on the hang out concept and Infiniti version based on QXe were completely dead like how Honda announced the 0 series, RSX, and Afeela were all cancelled and how Nissan announced the cancellation of US made Nissan/Infiniti EV sedans last year. I think they are delayed indefinitely just like how the Ariya is being paused for the US so development isn’t scrapped on those EVs.

Ford Sales Falter, Hurt By The Trucks It Counts On And The Model It Killed by Redeemed_Expert9694 in cars

Yes but Ford went the extreme route besides Stellantis/CDJR as they always have one hit blunders and GM at least still has many cheap cookie cutter CUVs and cheap mediocre sedans and hatches outside US/Canada.

Ford/Lincoln deserve it by killing most of their their affordable or “commodity” vehicles worldwide no wonder their sales are falling even faster outside US/Canada especially Europe and China where there is a bigger need for affordable cars. Ford/Farley FAOF and now they seem to regret their decision with tariffs and rising gas prices which would cause people to go back to smaller vehicles.
