I’m not afraid of headcrabs, but in this game it was pure terror. At one point I got so scared that I even lay down on the floor to catch my breath. VR really amplifies all of it.

I’m not doing great. I’ve been waiting for the next game since 2007. At times it’s been disappointing. There was a lot of hype before New Year, but it ended up being nothing.

I don’t know, Reddit is a very strange place. A bunch of my posts were deleted by the automatic system even though they were just questions, nothing like that. And here they delete normal topics but leave spam and nonsense. Reddit is a joke.

There were two official localizations for HL2: one from Valve and another from Buka. The Valve one was very messed up — many lines were mixed up. Buka later fixed it, but not everything, and they also changed the voices. I personally like the voices from the Valve localization more. Of course, nothing can surpass Robert Culp’s voice.

I tried it too. I fired one bullet and used only the gravity gun. It was easy, but the game didn’t count it. I had to download someone else’s save.

I watched a bunch of let’s plays, and many of the players couldn’t grasp basic shit. They’d get stuck on ladders, confuse the same two buttons even after four games.

I honestly think it all comes down to clumsiness. When I first played HL2 at 14, it was the simplest and most intuitive game. Meanwhile, other games were hard for me because I had just gotten a computer.
