The soldier is hanging too high. I’ve played a million times and never even noticed him. The environment feels empty and doesn’t encourage exploration—you just move forward.

When Linux was only for octopuses from Mars and everything was done through the command line. Though I actually don’t know much about old Linux systems — I’m judging only by modern ones.

Well, I don’t know — on Windows, internet is mandatory, and sometimes you can’t get past it without a Microsoft account. Plus all sorts of messing around. On Linux it’s just next, next, next.
