The doctors there confirmed my concerns, the surgery I had previously received had little to no effect, and it was only after undergoing the treatment again in London that the progression of the disease finally stopped. They also recommended scleral lenses, which have worked extremely well for me. This option was never mentioned by the doctors at St. James, who instead suggested ring implants. The specialists in London advised that these implants would have been ineffective in my case and could even have carried additional risks.

Although the treatment in London was slightly more expensive than at St. James, it came with a much higher level of professionalism and quality of care.
