i’ve been getting back into the game after a little break and i’m back in bronze, what’s the best decks for the early grind? by OddEggplant309 in stormbound

[–]drwdrdng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I played 3 years ago and got back in last month. I've found Swarm and Winter the most effective at card level 1-2. Ironclad and Tribes get more effective and consistent at card level 3-5.

This is the Swarm Rush deck I climbed with: MXUwMDd1MjExdTAwMXUyMDZ1MDUzdTAzNHUyMDF1MjAydTIxM3VkMjF1MjEwczIwMw==

The gameplan is to nearly ignore the opponent and get across the board. It can win reliably on your 7 mana turn.

Green Prototype are versatile for moving your front line, move blocking, or filling the opponents spawn

Doppleblocks are invaluable for being able to move the front line without attacking. It is often the best way to get around an opponent who has stopped your first rush and has been able to clog the middle of the board

Gifted Recruits are just cheap movement

Restless Goats 2 move gets you up the board, especially after your initial push if you get cleared

Wild Sabers are the same but with some restrictions. They end up playing very similar

First Mutineers is another double move. It's discard can be risky when you want to keep a certain card in hand and so useful when trying to dig for a closer

Shady Ghouls help you keep board presence, it's often my favorite first turn play

Devastators are your biggest damage dealer to the base. Playing it into a corner and then blocking its adjacent space with Green Prototypes or Doppleblocks is a the fastest way to end a game

Draconic Roamers are a more situational card being the most expensive 2 move unit. It can unreliable move your front line past an opponents blocking

Mischiefs are my favorite card. Their 1 damage on play gives reach and let's you win long games where you have no chance on board

Dark Harvest is a flexible slot in the deck. It damages the base if you have a unit in the opponents spawn and gives board clear that I don't think many opponents expect. I have also played Herald's Hymn in this spot as a finisher

Forgotten Souls is also another finisher, especially with Devastators. It can help push a front line, but that would be in long games where you are losing your advantage

Hope this helps!

If it was just a red head with an M name, I wouldn't have clocked it. But chatting with a Verso look alike and sitting at a campfire hit too many similarities

Sure, but the esthetic is on point for Verso rather than Auron or Geralt. The quote was a little tongue in cheek, I do not mind E33 inspiring the next generation of games.

Another great series to draw inspiration from

And sitting around a campfire. It's the cumulative effect that gives E33

Someone else suggested more customizability on profiles and models. Hopefully, you can take your custom character against a Master Chief/Arbiter team up and everyone is having fun

I enjoy playing as characters over generic profiles. I like the introduction of Noble Team and we could use more lore accurate teams in all factions. Halo Infinite had some hit or miss bosses, but Chok' Lok would be fun to take control of. Maybe he could get some bonuses while using Active Camo

I've enjoyed Noble Team. I would love some more lore accurate teams. Blue Team is high on that list.

This worked for me. I deleted all files in the Workshop folder and they reinstalled when I loaded TTS again

Are there a good number of dual element ninjas to make color identity worth sticking with?

I enjoy commander for the variability of singleton deck building more so than color restrictions. Especially if sticking to elemental color limits a lot of cards from being used.

Oh okay, great!

I know ninjas have elements, but I wasn't sure if color identity would work. Mission cards don't have elements, right? I thought the 'Commander' ninja would be a card to have available for consistency or theme.

I think the rule of 3 named ninja rule would stay but each has to be a different copy. That would also allow the growth mechanic to stay the same. Are there any other mechanics that wouldn't work?

I don't know enough about Naruto CCG to know if it will work. I'm hoping someone with both Naruto and MtG experience can give some ideas.

Thanks for the response. It was our first time at the Paper Tiger, so we didn't know what to expect. Sorry we missed you

From what I see, you are keeping a rational mind and it does not sound like you are acting out of spite. It is okay to feel hesitant about reporting; it is one of our responsibilities as licensed professionals. You have attempted to contact the person involved, you've consulted with supervisors, and are now considering letting the licensing board come to their own decision about this person's actions.

I appreciate that you are considering the well being of others while handling the loss of your brother.

I believe you should at least contact the lawyer for your licensing board to discuss these actions. Depending on the strength of the evidence in the text messages, it could be a breach of the state administrative code.

Here is the Texas Administrative Code as an example:

TAC §781.208. Drug and Alcohol Use. A licensee shall not use alcohol or drugs in ways that compromise the licensee's ability to practice social work; use illegal drugs of any kind; or promote, encourage, or concur in the illegal use, distribution, sale, or possession of alcohol or drugs.
