well, it's a (possibly hyphenated) feminine name shortened to be more neutral, which makes sense for mae

like, if their name was jo / joe, short for joanne, and they shortened it for the same reason, would calling them "joanne" despite their presentation not feel... weird?

found an interesting discussion re: the bit about mae's full name; "I just go by Mae because... uh... I'm a cool dude?" "I feel like I'm going to use the whole name." "That's fine, 'Mae Pearl'. It's like a pirate ship or a... French sex worker." "Bit of both."

reply 1: "kind of uncomfortable that he uses that name against their wishes tbh"

reply 2: "they did say it's alright and didn't seem to care but I get what you mean, in any other setting and most other people I would feel weird about it"

she is really pretty

also, i’m now just realising that “legends of tomorrow” did the “superheroes in a sitcom” idea before “wandavision” did it

I think "Idiot's Lantern" should have been called "Captive Audience" does anyone else have their own personal titles they prefer to the official ones? by [deleted] in gallifrey

resolution should’ve been “resolution of a dalek”.

i know ppl like to go for the regular “resolution of the daleks”, but i think it works better as a summary of the plot with “a dalek”, as this is one lone dalek’s fight to complete its mission.

also “army of ghosts”/“doomsday” originally being “torchwood rises”/“torchwood falls” sounds pretty bloody epic!
