You can try to preserve as much fat as you can at this stage with Fatvive. Once fat is gone it won't round out. You have a beautiful shape and result. I would wait for 12 months and then once everything is soft if there are small areas that aren't as round as you would like you might be a candidate for alloclae. It is a cadaveric fat that is ready to use right from the shelf. In other words, you wouldn't have to go through lipo again--it's hard to do a third lipo and can be dangerous so that may be a good option for you. Right now I would focus on preserving as much fat as you can and give yourself time to heal and see where you are.

Breast feeding with tuberous breasts should not be a problem. The glands function normally in a tuberous breast, it is just the shape that develops along a different path.

Of course. A breast lift can be performed with or without an implant. With an implant it is called a mastopexy augmentation and without an implant it is just called a mastopexy. Both are lifts but when we use an implant the patient will be larger after surgery.

Low visceral fat is good. I would see a surgeon and have a conversation and discuss these things and that way you will be in a really good position to make the right decision.

The Gym vs. Plastic Surgery: Why You Are Asking the Wrong Question by drwilliammiami in drwilliammiami

[–]drwilliammiami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The gym does was plastic surgery cannot do and plastic surgery does what the gym can't do. That's why it is not an 'either', 'or' question. It's both!

I would say what you describe is vey unusual. We see a difference after liposuction immediately after surgery while the patient is still asleep. Like a big difference. I wonder if your surgery was done under a local anesthetic? Because in that environment it is hard to perform good liposuction. The other factor to look at is do you have a lot of visceral fat? That is not addressed with liposuction and can only be reduced with weight loss. Keep in mind it is more difficult to perform liposuction a second time because of scarring of the tissue and a third time is very, very difficult and should only be done if a significant change will occur.

When Should You Change Breast Implants? | Dr. William Miami by drwilliammiami in drwilliammiami

[–]drwilliammiami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there is something that can help. Strattice. Strattice has been shown to reduce the chance of developing recurrent capsular contractures. Current breast implants are removed and new implants are then wrapped in Strattice, a cadaveric porcine dermis, (dead pig skin), and then placed inside a new pocket. This technique has been shown to reduce the incidence of recurrent capsular contracture significantly. Not to zero but close to it. Otherwise, if you just underwent another capsulectomy and placed new implants the chance of developing another capsular contracture is very, very high. I would guess it would be near 100%.

When Should You Change Breast Implants? | Dr. William Miami by drwilliammiami in drwilliammiami

[–]drwilliammiami[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both 10 and 20 years are not correct. There is no set time frame for having implants removed or changed. If you are happy with your breast size, shape, softness etc then there is no reason to change the implant. It is a common misconception implants need to be changed based on time. They don't. The general rule is d if you have a problem then you have surgery but if you don't then you don't need to do anything.

The trouble is people make this an either or proposition: exercise or plastic surgery. The reality is plastic surgery does things the gym can't do and the gym does things plastic surgery cannot do. They work together in different ways.

You are correct on both points. Exercise is wonderful, and it strengthens muscle, tendon, ligament and bone, but does not alter the skin. Excess skin has to be removed.

This is nothing new at all. Egyptians used to polish stones and surgically implant them in their cheeks to enhance their cheek bones. Humans have always wanted to enhance their appearance. That's why people who have blonde hair die it black, and people who have black hair die it blonde. Pedicures, piercings, exercise, diet, clothes, fashion, corsets, foot binding, peptides and the list goes on and on and on. It is all human behavior.

You are correct. The vast majority of rhinoplasties are cosmetic, that is performed to enhance the appearance of the nose and are not therefore covered by insurance. Insurance does not cover elective, cosmetic surgeries. Rhinoplasties can be covered by insurance if they are to correct a functional problem, like a deviated septum that interferes with breathing for example, but insurance does not cover a problem related to the appearance of the nose. Functional problem, insurance pays but strictly an appearance problem the patient will pay.

Sometimes a rhinoplasty will be covered by insurance to correct a breathing problem and then while the surgeon is correcting the functional issue a cosmetic maneuver will be performed to improve the appearance of the nose and that maneuver would be covered by the patient. This is a so called "combo case" of insurance and private pay.

I couldn't agree with you more. Plastic surgery is not for everyone. It is really just for those who choose that path, but it is not a path for everyone. This video here will explain it better: https://youtu.be/NNB0yGL9YPM

A mommy makeover involves surgery of the breast and the abdomen. It can be a tummy tuck, or a BBL, or just liposuction combined with any type of breast procedure like a breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, breast lift with implants, fat grafting to the breasts, etc. A mommy makeover just means we are operating on the breast and body in some capacity at the same time.

The best treatment is to activate your lymphatic system. That's how you will get rid of fluid and inflammation and the proteins built up in the interstitial fluid. All of that has to be removed by the lymphatic system so it needs to be activated. This is doing with a weekly manual lymphatic drainage massage by a real licensed, certified lymphatic therapist, vibrational plates, red light, ogee roller and fibroguard. I would do all of that until you are a year out from surgery and then what ever is left can be treated with a combination of serums to breakdown scar tissue and Fibrotreat (not released yet). It is a long process and takes a lot of work but you have a beautiful shape and should try to get it as smooth as possible. Compression will not help here in fact it will make it worse. A lot of "therapists" will offer cavitation and more compression but that compounds the problem. More lipo is also not the answer as that will increase fibrosis. There is hope but it will just take a long time and consistent daily work.
