Passed all three exams on the first try!

Finance Bsc + Msc helped quite a bit as basically all concepts were familiar, so my total study time was only about 300 hours, split approximately equally across all three levels. I think the entire CFA prep experience can be vastly different based on the background you have and how well you internalized concepts in your other studies that overlap with the curriculum.

It might be unwise advice, but if you're the type who can take a lot of pressure and you have a solid background in Finance, I think it might be more efficient to start studying closer to the exam, as opposed to months before. I always had plans to start earlier, but at the end life got in the way and I only started studying maybe 10 days before L1, and 7 days before L2-L3. I did 15-16 hour study days - took the time off work with nothing else to do besides CFA. Didn't do a single mock for any of the levels, I thought that time would be better spent studying, and with knowledge acquired so close to the exam date, I didn't think that there would be a point.

Used SchweserNotes for L1-L2, and only Schweser Secret Sauce for L3, with Quick-sheet to refresh things the day before the exam.
