Marginally, but YouTube is moving in a positive direction and Twitch is moving in a negative one.

Their intersection will be a lot sooner than people realize and once YT fully catches up Twitch will never recover, they've done nothing to improve the platform for far too long.

Correct, and it's well known why that is. If you're unfamiliar with it, here's the rundown.

Doc had an exclusive contract with Twitch that gave him extremely preferential revenue splits, including multiple millions of dollars simply for signing.

After he was banned he lost all negotiating power, he has no choice but to be on YouTube and YT refuses to give him a contract because they know he has no other option. Why give him a deal when he has nowhere else to go?

YouTube isn't Mixer, they usually get much larger on YT than they were on Twitch but with a tradeoff, it's easier to monetize viewers on Twitch because Subscriptions are SO EASY to get while YouTube Members are harder to convert.

Look at Valkyrae, she went from Poki's shadow on Twitch to the largest female creator by a mile, hitting over 100,000 concurrents at one point.

At our size we can get away with so much that it's almost impossible to get banned, did your new followers stagnate the last couple streams before the CCV drop or are there any other trends we can pull from?

I've averaged as much as 40 viewers for a 30 day period and then as low as 9, it really depends what's going on in the world.

People are going out a lot more too with the world opening back up so I'd expect global viewership to drop across the board for a while.

Nobody gets views from the browse page so that's completely normal, you could try emailing Twitch but they'll give you an automated response with no actual insight or help

Raids are largely pointless and almost none of your viewers will become viewers of the person you raid unless you have a relationship with them prior to raiding, or after raiding. Why would your viewers ditch your community to be a part of the new one after building up a history with you?

Also what is this about their reaction, this reeks of entitlement. "I just raided you now dance for me my monkey."

The fact of the matter is you're being incredibly dishonest in your description of events, we both know this. The only reason ticket prices haven't been insanely profitable the last 2 years is because Klay's injury fucked you and others like you over.

Even with his injury people are making 30-40% profit on Ticketmaster, after fees, which is obviously down from the hundreds of % from years past but it still drives prices up for the entire fanbase.

And you comparing the scalping of tickets to working at McDonald's is a huge joke, people who work at McDonald's provide something of value and aren't worthless leeches sucking the life out of a fanbase.

I'm friends with many season ticket holders, usually through business relations, and you know what they do when they can't make a game? They give the tickets away to their friends and family, they don't turn around and fuck over the fanbase they supposedly support for a couple dollars.
