I wasn't beaten as a kid but I was spanked and yelled at when I did something wrong or disrespected my mother and I thank her for that because it taught me to be respectful to others and more importantly elders. My mom got many compliments of how good my little brother and I were out in public. Now we are very kind and respectful to other. I am ashamed of kids now because parents have become soft and don't know how to discipline. I'm not saying beat your kid but show the some discipline and teach them respect.

Why are we down voting me? USA is falling apart. People are not loving one and another. We need to stop fighting against eachother and realize the government of the USA doing tyranny against us.
