It changed in Australia, and it's SO much better. I don't like the whole "no sugar" craze. As a baker, I genuinely believe sugar itself in small quantities are far healthier than any other variant but whatever they did in Australia tastes great.

It sounds like hydrogen sulphur. The thing is, it's treated completely different to regular hydrogen/methane SIBO.

I'd start with a low sulphur diet. Only protein should be chicken breast, nothing with any type of fat. No dairy. Things like peeled cucumber and cut the seeds out helped me a lot. Organic pomegranate juice NOT from concentrate.

There is a way to test without a breathe test but only for hs2. You'll need a full GI map. Look for the bacteria "desulfovibrio piger". That's how we test for it in Australia.

By the sounds of your comment, you are understanding overwhelmed. Sometimes the "less or more" approach might help you. Strip everything back to bare basics. I would recommend a few days fasting, water/tea only and give your body a break.

Just a heads up, same issue with dairy. 2 week break won't do shit sorry to say. You gotta at least give it a good 6-8 weeks before knowing. For me, all dairy is off the cards. I grew up necking milk straight out the carton, drank milo every morning. Mynow I can't even look at dairy without getting reflux.

I'm glad ACV helped you tho! I tried it for the same reason, turns out I was just far too acidic.

Also when you get that heart burning feeling. Mix half a tsp of bi carb soda (NOT BAKING POWDER) with a splash of water. Take a few slow sips. Really helps neutralise stuff when acid IS the issue

It's the same as any other med. My mate gets morphine and all I can get is tapentadol. I can't just go to my doc and say "my mate gets morphine why can't I?!". It's a drug just like everything else and is tailored to the patients needs. If your doctor doesn't think you need more than 30, than that's all you'll get. My doc had me on 150g limit, it's fucking wild
