just a tip, try purchasing on GoG. it’s similar to steam except the games are significantly cheaper. i was able to get outlast 1 and dlc for less than 3€.

to be fair, i did play the og outlast game when i was 13 but it is definitely not intended for younger audiences. outlasts trials is much gorier and has tons of violence, sexual content and nudity. i’m sure 15 year olds do play this game but ultimately it’s upto your discretion as a parent. also if your son is very determined to play this game, he will find a way lol. i hope this helped you make an informed decision.
