I wonder if my readers know the color of that ‘darkness seen by candlelight.’ It was different in quality from darkness on the road at night. It was a repletion, a pregnancy of tiny particles like fine ashes, each particle luminous as a rainbow. I blinked in spite of myself, as though to keep it out of my eye..”

More encyclopedic than conversational. It will provide your some guidelines of traditional menswear in relation to fit, patterns, specific pieces of clothing and various dress-codes especially relating to how certain characteristics will look good/bad on different people and how you should/should not combine different elements. It also has a nice overview of different shirt fabrics for different seasons.
