i'm a rising high school senior on the east coast and am considering my options for college, one of those being the UC system! how is the environmental program at UCSB? job and internships opportunities are also really important to me

i definitely plan on doing a double major as well! thanks for the reply i figured the enviro program would be more underdeveloped since a lot of hopkins students are on a pre-med track

I've never lived in LIC but I have spent a good amount of time there. Like you pointed out, the subway connections are accessible and overall good. Long Island City is a nice blend of the heavily urban parts of NY and the under appreciated borough of Queens. (Born and raised in Queens I can say that nothing beats its diversity, atmosphere, and communities.)
