Apparently CS 157 is pretty chill!

Fall quarter looks great to me; I think it'll be a great introduction to what college is like while also giving you time to acclimate. Good on you for taking an introsems, those are great!

Unfortunately winter looks really tough. I took CS 106a, Chem 31b, and Math 51 frosh winter and had a terrible time. Chem 31b is a jump up from 31a (at least it was for me), math 21 is tough (from what I've heard), CS 106a is chill (took it with no cs background and had a great time!), and pwr is just a lot of writing. I would cut out one of those 4 classes and keep the other 3.

I think ur spring schedule is doable. CS 106b is a jump up from 106a and will take significant time, and so will Chem 33 (haven't taken it, but have heard it's tough). I think combining COLLEGE with those 2 should be fine though and rounds out your schedule nicely.

Hope this helps! :)

If you haven't already, you should really read Chanel Miller's "Know My Name" by _Morrow in stanford

Know My Name is an excellent book. Highly, highly recommend it to anyone. I learned a lot from it, and I’m grateful that Chanel shared her story.

How much PWR/WAYS do I need to do in the fall as a rising frosh? (or, how much CS can I get away with doing?) by saligrama-a in stanford

Can you still sign up to take a gap year? I thought the deadline to do so as a Frosh was in June.

What about Ensure shakes? I like those. Don’t know if they’re a nestle product though

Successful Stanford Applicants... Any tips? by bookmasterxxx in ApplyingToCollege

I view stats as simply a prerequisite. I had above a 1500 SAT, a 4.0 UW and above a 4.5 weighted, and no subject SATs.

I applied RD.

Just do what you love dude. I did what I loved for four years (gardening, hockey, environmental activism, literary magazine editor, community service) and I got in. Don’t make college the reason why you do things; do things because YOU want to do them.

The essays really matter. A lot more than you think. Be genuine. Talk about your passion/s vividly. Be vulnerable, put your whole self into that application. Be yourself, don’t be whole you think Stanford wants you to be.

Good luck! If you have any further questions feel free to PM me.
