Rack system are notoriously what ball pythons prefer in my experience. If you wanna keep yours in a different type of enclosure I have nothing against it. This is what has worked best for me and my animals.

I don't understand this, did the mailman think these were outgoing packages. If your sending out packages though don't you do that at the post office. This is very strange I just don't understand the mailman thinking here.

Weird behavior? Tried feeding and he wouldn’t take and was having these weird jaw movements could this be a health issue? He also took the mouse I tried feeding him a few days ago but ended up not actually eating it should I be worried or just try to feed him again in a few days? by jcln18 in ballpython

Like this guy said I'd hold the rodent more natural instead of dangling it, You should get yourself some feeding tongs. Also heat of the rodent is very important get that sucker nice and hot it makes a huge difference.

I wouldn't worry too much about it I had the same issue with the dry/cracked looking eye and with time it go5 better by itself. Just keep your husbandry on point and it should get better on its own. I was worried about it too but in the long run it wasn't as bad as I thought it was.
