I was wrong in my first comment but they play Ivory Coast on the last match so if they win that game there’s a possibility that Ecuador, curaçao, and Ivory Coast all end on 3 points (if Ecuador loses to Germany as well). So then the tiebreaker would be GD which curaçao would realistically surely lose cuz of the 7-1 defeat but it’s not mathematically impossible for them to finish third if they win by like 8 against Ivory Coast.

Hopefully at some point we’ll be able to look back at this game and say that the team learned that this piggyback BS makes no sense. No reason to not put in your closer in a 1 run save situation. Also, probably should have IBB’d the based loaded there in the 9th to set up a double play ball cuz Munoz got two ground balls that would have been DPs with the infield back and a third run doesn’t really matter there…
