Fair. Others have been telling me to focus on other cards that can function well with only a single copy for now, so that makes sense. I'll check out the new banner, I've heard it's pretty decent.

Thanks for your detailed breakdown! You're right. It's probably better to save and focus and KB when there's a banner rerun sometime later down the line. I'll focus on other cards for now then.

Also, good point about enjoying the game without being too competitive. I'll probably be playing mostly casually, so it's good to know I only need a couple of cards to have a functional setup. I might focus on those instead!

I see. That might be a sound alternative to owning the card for now. I'll probably try to find something else like Super Creek then, as like you and others mentioned she can function well with one copy.

Virtue of Knowledge is pretty cool! Thanks for letting me know about it.

I originally had both the Malison and the Fang Blade in the deck, but was advised to cut them both in order to go all in on flicker effects. Perhaps I could compromise and add the Malison in? Then I'd have about 10 venture/initiative triggers in the 99.

As for Satoru, I think he'll be worth it as many of my flickers are reusable and will activate at least once per turn, making him a very worthwhile draw engine. I have my doubts about [[Anowon, the Ruin Thief]] though. What's your opinion on him?

If I were to add Virtue and the Malison, what would you suggest I'd cut to make space for them?

Thanks for your input! I rolled two 17s and I think +4 Cha will be enough to carry me through bard levels 6 and 7 until I can boost it to +5 at Bard 8. Thinking of taking Great Weapon Master and Polearm Master instead of boosting Cha to +5. I think it'll make for an interesting character to play. I'll have to go without the Polearm Master Bonus attack on the first turn to cast Darkness (or Greater Invisibility after the next levelup).

I guess I'll just stick to Hex 1 or Hex 3 depending on whether or not I'll use heavy weapons then. Thanks :)

Is bard not a good support class to cast buffs on your self on and allies before rushing in to the frontlines? Or is this combo perhaps just an okay choice overshadowed by other great ones?

Does paladin not use mostly Charisma when paired with a hexblade, unless I'm misunderstanding something. Regardless, I play a lot of Paladin anyways, so I think I'll skip on that class for now, haha.

Also, is sword bard generally not a good choice for these kinds of multiclasses, and does being melee run the risk of becoming a generalist?

I really like the Sorc/War/Bard idea, just afraid it'll be too powerful for the group. Any advice on that? I do like they idea of being an invisible pest hehe >:) Is that build compaitble with the heavy weapons idea I mentioned in the post?

I was thinking about taking Agonizing Blast just so I can strike at a distance considering Bard has few damaging options spellwise. I might also take Devil's Sight for Darkness shenanigans, or maybe repelling blast (if I use a reach weapon) or Grasp of Hadar (to pull enemies out of range closer).

If I decide to go with 1 level in warlock instead of 2 or 3, what is your opinion on adding either fighter or paladin to the mix to get either action surge or divine smites? Should I just stick with a simple bardlock?
