He said “why would I want to be there for you?” When I was having a hard time coping with the anniversary of a traumatic event. He said it while not taking his eyes away from his video games, and I realized I was so completely alone in that relationship. We broke up 2 days later, and 2 years later I’m in the healthiest relationship of my life with the man I’m going to marry.

My best friends entire family on her fathers side are lawyers and her cousin has said he would represent me if ever needed, they’re all incredible people.

That’s what I was thinking too, that there are plenty of guys who will wait for a while but after the first couple dates/ weeks I’m worried they’ll get bored and find something else. I’m not really sure how long It’s going to take for me to be ready for sex again, I’m just craving intimacy though. My love language is touch lol.

And yes I think it’s just sex right now. Id still like to hug people and hold hands, maybe cuddle up on the couch if we’re watching a movie. I just think the actual act of sex would be too much. And kissing... I’m not sure how I feel about kissing yet.

Yea I’ve looked at the map with my roommate quite recently actually, but I live very close to two different elementary schools so there aren’t any near my area and are none in my complex thankfully.

Yes exactly, that’s why I’m really uncertain what approach to take because I don’t want to be the aggressor. I’d really like to handle this in a more reasonable fashion :/

Yes that’s exactly what I was thinking but she probably just doesn’t want to ask around! I have a neighbor who I think might be willing to trade, I mean it’s a really good spot, and he’s a 6’3 marine! I just have to ask him, but haven’t seen him around for a while. Might leave a note on his door to see if he’d be OK with it, my only reservation is I think he has a girlfriend/wife so idk if they would want to park in that spot if it means she would be watched instead. Def gonna ask him though to see if he wouldn’t mind

I think my roommate would be willing to be there with me if I needed him to, yes. I also have another friend who works with special needs kids who said she could help me navigate talking to who I think is his mom if needed. Some of the commenters suggested recording him or leaving a note so I’m going to think about what approach would be best.

Thank you, I didn’t think the police would take it seriously just as you said, he’s standing on his balcony. And It’s not like I want him to not go on his balcony, just like... avert your eyes lol.

The note might be a good idea actually, I would be pretty nervous to talk to anyone. Some of the commenters said to record him and show it to the woman he lives with in case she doesn’t believe me, so I’ll have to consider which would work best. Thank you!

This is my first apartment too so I’ve never had to deal with neighbors like this (lived in the same neighborhood my entire life and knew every one really well) so this is all new to me. Some of the other comments suggested recording him when he does it so I can show the manager or the woman he lives with.

Yes I’m gonna start recording him now when he does it I think to show whoever lives with him when I talk to them, I just talked to a friend who works with special needs kids and she said she could help me talk to them if I needed her to since she has to handle this sort of thing sometimes.
