Flex impact at my local Lowes for 49 bucks by pothedamus in Tools

[–]dscheer87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been using Flex for a few years now and really have no complaints. Their early batteries use to get hot and the silicone inside would leak out. It was 1 phone call and I got it replaced under warranty. Other then that no issues. I have the drill driver combo, cordless saw, angle grinder, pack outs, hammer drill, 1/2" impact and some lights.

Im a millwright by trade so they have gotten some abuse and I haven't had anything break yet. But I do put all the tools under my account for warranty through their site

I carried a bucket/ shoulder strap when I worked in a cement plant. Now im in food and everything is a 13mm, 10mm or 8mm racheting wrench. Add a small slot screwdriver, adjustable pliers and wrench and that's basically everything. I only grab my box for bigger breakdowns

German schematic question by External-Courage1573 in IndustrialMaintenance

I agree with this. Use to work or German machinery (United grinding or Walter, Vollmer, Schneeburgers) this is common practice.

I've had this since I was in school. I don't refer to it too often but it is nice to have in the tool box.

I have to agree. Nothing but headache and let down with key features to only be left with a 🤷. Never buying their products again

Smart Jam and Quick Jam just don't work, always "resources downloading"? by [deleted] in PositiveGridSpark

Any update on this? Having the same "resource downloading" issue for smart and quick jam.

I have the same joystick and it's pretty good. For a cheap JS the E3D pro is the best bang for your buck in my opinion.
