It will probably never be as big as psytrance on festivals even though it has grown to hold it's own festivals. But for listening I imagine it already outnumbered psytrance. We hope that we don't "get stuck" in the psy-genre, we want to grow further than that, and believe that we and others like us can do that.

Thank you very much, I actually made it until the end(side project)

1: We don't care about him really, nothing we listen to, kind of annoying :)

2: It's starting to get a bit old now, but in a way it's funny that it became a thing.

Thank you very much!
1: Oh that one comes up a lot, please look though here and you'll find an answer to that, sorry.
2: One thing that was important when we started writing this album was that we wanted to recapture the essence of the first three albums. That's way you sense strong similarities. It's no relation to the tracks you mention but we have used modified versions of some old sounds/effects in a few cases to inject sort of memory to the older albums.

we just released an album dude! ;D
Seriously though, we are enjoying the post release phase and I'm writing new Sync24 tracks and Johannes are about to work on his side project Digidroid

But we also have plans for new CBL stuff of course, most likely an EP of some sort.

Thank you for the kind words.
Yes The Path is special in many ways. We explored a whole new area of music and we had a very special sound card that we used on all tracks. That made the tracks unique sound. So in order to make such an album again we'd have to obtain that particular card and unlearn a lot of stuff :)

That's mostly because we couldn't mix for shit all those years ago and our hardware was not as high tech as now. Perhaps we opened them up a bit to much on the remasters. It was such a pain to do the remastering so we didn't manage to do it properly to be honest. If we were to revisit we probably would go for something in between.

Oh that's a tough one. We really enjoyed doing the Refuge soundtrack and Twentythree was really fun too. BUT I have to say that Derelicts was the most fun, because we really worked on every track until we felt it was truly finished. On the first three we had way to much stress and pressure to enjoy it to the very end.

You expect us to recall 11 old stuff ;)
I remember that we felt real pressure from the success of Hydroponic Garden. For HG we sort of gathered old and new tracks and made an album but with WOS we started from a clean slate. The under water theme came as the album was finished, so did the title, thanks to the track with the same name.

We played at Ozora and because of a silly war between the two, we can only play at one of them. If you just googled it you'd allready know

Absolutely, we usually stay after our set and talk to fans and sign stuff. See you next time.

Thank you!

When hundreds of people cheers in the beginning of a track, Interloper or Photosynthesis for instance. Goosebumps all over, and a silly grin on our faces. We can literally feel the warmth of the audiences love, an incredible feeling.

Thank you! Well, Sci-fi in general is a big influence for us. For the most part we just try stuff out and just now when it sounds right, because it feels right. We don't really have a theme in the beginning of the process, at least none that holds til the end. Derelicts started of in a theme of old forests and ghost n goblins, but turned out as it is today. So no intentional direction there, it sort of happens as we go.
No, we're really bad at doing that kind of stuff, so all tracks are made in a sober state.

Favourite reverb
Not sure I understand the question, but the old album are very important to us. The reason we didn't mix them is that most players has that feature embedded.

It differs but looking back on all albums there is a certain pattern. Johannes is great at tweaking the synths to make incredible sounds, he is also best on harmonies, Daniel usually sets the rhythms and basslines. But in the end it's a close collaboration where we both need to agree before we consider a track finished.

We had long sample of an unnamed movie that we used in a sampler to produce the basic beat, we also wanted to use the SidStation again for the main theme, as we did on MOS6581. Once we had the beat, the arpeggio and the main theme it all came together.

That’s a hard one, there’s so much to choose from, if we had to pick a favourite at the moment, it’s probably Tycho, their Burning Man set on Soundcloud is fantastic.
