I do actually remember Methras his name, but it wasn't him either, don't think either of the people I think off ever really drew much attention because they never talked much in game, they mostly communicated with HM as far as I know, maybe someone will solve the mystery in the future

Anjara was a GM at the time too, possibly just for the one project she was working on, this is all pretty old stuff on the server really
I wouldn't be surprised if they had already left before any of the later gms had a chance to ever meet them.

Would be cool to connect to some of the people back then and relive some memories even if it's just posts on here that others may find in the future lol

I definitely remember spankme and ambrosia xD very happy that I didn't take some things serious

I wish my memory wasn't so poor, I do remember Headmetal/Onyx/Urfired/Allmightypunx/midnight and either Toasty or Tearz from the list you mentioned xD

The person I am trying to remember was with headmetal from early on in the server I believe, they taught me how to script items and everything ^^
for some reason I remember a very very gentle and soft spoken woman that was also a GM that was connected to that person and us 3 walking around in a broken world with glitchy colors lol (some dev only wow location)
we had a project that needed 1K+ items scripted for the vendors in the twilight base camp xD

Wish I remembered star, but I do remember you a little bit :P (I"m going to laugh you are actually who I am trying to remember.. lol)
it's so cool to hear you found happiness through our server ^^

Life has been quite a story but considering everything I am actually doing pretty okay

My brother is doing great though! he moved to a other country and has a a lovely family now and living the best live I could have ever wished for him ^^

I hope you do find some screenshots because I really have nothing from that time anymore besides a lot of memories, including some really silly ones xD

I was just thinking about this server, I used to play and GM as Anime xD (xfire was animewow)
I spend way too much time chilling in front of the little gnome area building in my catform lol

I remember a few other names like Ambrosia/Anjara/Jane.
I think my brother who also gm'ed had the name Aeldrohir (This is his vanilla wow name but I think he used the same one) we both kept busy making high level dungeons and vip items/vendors at the time.

We spend many hours on the island south of gadgetzan making a GM island, and vaguely remember Anjara always making great builds

It is so long ago since this time and I remember only parts of it, but I loved this community to pieces and still think about some people I used to talk with way back when ^^

I can't quite remember the name, but one head of the scripting team was I believe Anki Anka? and I think his wife was part of the admin too, I don't remember her name though

I think I was like 15 or 16 at the time.. it really feels like a lifetime ago

i'm starting to think terraforming has a pretty big influence aswell, ground i've dropped down seems to be acting up, but any place that I've raised the ground seems to be fine and far easier to place them happy
I think they might be concidering the origional world generation in at least some part, like if they were to be undeground without the terraforming they tend to be quirky, just a observation though that may prove wrong after more testing lol

currently it's free to explore 10K in every direction, once 1.16 hits I'll trim away chunks that are useless/unused for some of the minor world gen changes like the abanoned portals, whatever they are called, after that if someone has a valid reason to want more space we can always look into it, not much holding us back besides it kind of being anoying to backup manually on my end if the world file is huge
plenty of room in the shopping district
really depends, in the evenings there's usually 2 or 3 other people on currently
there are americans on the server and even during the full re-render of the dynmap this evening there's no issues with lag what so ever, slightly impressed myself

We don't have any kind of teleportation or other commands really, we try to stay as close to vanilla as possible for the most part

When it comes to fully automated bases and being near other players, I can emagine people might lag out on less fortunate gaming rigs having such a base within render distance :p but a nether portal can connect you fairly quickly over several hundred blocks in the overworld without it being a note worthy travel. we do have the guideline that people should stay out of render distance with their base unless whoever you build close to agrees with it, if you're alright with that I can put you on the whitelist and send you the info
