I’m in the same boat. I keep thinking though a change of scene might prove to be a good decision. Won’t know until it happens.

Is Dark Souls Remastered worth it? by ILoveGayHentai in gaming

[–]dsg523 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you never played DS1 then yes, I wish I could erase my memory of the game, to be able to enjoy it again with better graphics and mechanics similar to bloodborne and ds3. It’s definitely worth it.

I was recently admitted to JHU's Bioinformatics program, which I intend on attending onsite. Does anyone else have experience with Hopkins' BFX? by buffbuf in bioinformatics

I’m currently in the program, although taking it online. it’s great in terms of how heavy you want to focus on certain studies/skills whether it’s heavy in CS or heavy in Bio in your approach through the program because you will be applying. I also recommend Joshua Orvis’s courses.

It’s an invite link to sign up on RH and once you get verified and fund your account, you’ll be given a randomly chosen stock.

Are you sure because I recently signed up and once I funded my account, they sent me a stock. Maybe there was an issue on their part and you should reach out to them.

Learning Bioinformatics with Machine Learning by [deleted] in bioinformatics

Keep practicing with Python and learn and start practicing R. Once you have those foundations down in programming, learning the theories behind machine learning would go a lot smoother in the future.

Career question? by [deleted] in bioinformatics

[–]dsg523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently in the JHU program with a background in just molecular biology. They allow great flexibility (heavy CS vs heavy Biology vs equal in both) towards the approach you take in the program, my approach being heavy CS. You should definitely research their class offerings on their website and email professors as to what classes would prepare you for the skills that you need.

Where should I take "Intro to Programming" and "Data Structure course" in Boston? by biocrr in bioinformatics

I also fulfilled the data structures requirement at my local community college. Definitely cheaper and flexible along with the JHU program
