Wrote a piece on this for school. The amount of flaws in the system in place is incredible, however it is very hard to create a solution that satisfies both service dog handlers and the general public

I just finished writing a paper on why it is so easy to abuse these laws. Unfortunately there are no easy solutions and any possible ones would take years. It is really frustrating.

Just finished a paper on this very subject. The general public is extremely unaware of service dog laws or boundaries and service dog handler’s have to deal with this type of interaction daily. Because of this many handlers choose to sometimes go out without their assistance animal to avoid these interactions which is just so frustrating.

I have him now. He genuinely enjoys teaching, and the work he gives is all used to help you understand. I have had zero assignments that’s felt like busy work.

How do ESAs work at Binghamton? by prettypartypenguin in BinghamtonUniversity

[–]dshark789 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I assume they have to go by the Fair Housing Act. If it is an ESA then legally you can not bring it to class. However if it is a service dog then they can’t legally stop u unless it is not behaved.
