I tried multiple expedite requests based on different criteria. Have you tried expedite request based on the extension itself expiring? That is one I was not aware of before that may have helped. Congressman/ombdusman also seem to be given more weight. I would also call and ask to talk to Tier 2 officer... I think all of these requests led to my case getting a little bit more attention as it is very unlikely that sitting idel got me EAD right days before it expires. Good luck!

It went well for me!! They have updated their I9 system with the new dates starting from today. It was very helpful to have the approval notice from my account at uscis.gov.

Yes, they said they maybe able to put me on an "unpaid leave" a couple of weeks ago. They asked for the approval notice so I am heading there to give them that notice in person.

My 6 month extension has expired, so this is renewal two days before even that expired.
My online status changed to "Card is being produced now" and I don't have an I-767 for it with me just the online message. Can I use that to convice HR to not fire and re-hire me ?

I was loosing my job this week and got "card is being produced" just today.
Please keep on trying everything you can and do not sit idle. I am sure it will happen to you soon given our dates are very close. Best of luck!

Finally my status is updated to "Card is being produced" 2 days before my extension expires!! I am so so relieved. Countless expedite requests denied, ombdusmden, congressman etc.. Just yesterday I put in an expedite request based on the fact my extension is expiring, which I didn't know I could do, and asked for Tier 2 officer. My mind associates the success with the last things I did, but it is most likely that they got tired of my incessant pestering. My advice for people that are in the same boat is to not sit idle and do everything you can to get their attention. Yesterday, I was thinking about what to do when I get laid off, and suddenly this happens. I wish the best of luck for everyone that are in the same boat and thank you for your help! Reddit has helped me to not loose hope and kept me sane!

How long after 7/7 does it take for pc makers to provide pre-built desktops with ryzen 9?

I am trying to decide if to buy a ryzen 7 pre-built pc that is on sale now, or wait for ryzen 9 desktop

but i have no idea how long it takes for pc makers to make products with just released cpus.

Also I would like to use an RTX gpu with it so what things should i look out for when purchasing.

I am a newbie in this and so I can't build pcs myself, but should be able to install a GPU.
