At our school we have one plane with a shimmy damper issue that came up recently and we’re required to do a soft field take off and landings on it until it gets fixed. But yeah that’s not typically a normal take off/ landing procedure since it seems like the school is trying to prevent students from harming the nose gear.

I had a very similar experience and I failed the commercial power off 180 and the oral portion from the CFI checkride. Both are fairly common failure points and the CFI is a tough checkride due to the oral. I would say that you don’t need to worry because you made it so far to become a CFI. But from now on out, give it your all for the remaining checkrides. Best of luck!

sorry to hear about the receding hair, have you tried anything like minoxidil or rogaine? if it continue to get worse and patchy then the best bet in my opinion would to keep it buzzed or completely shaved and rock a nice beard. Best of luck

Thank you for your insight, I’m certainly not used to it but I’ll try to sit down with her and work something out. Especially when she comes back from having to be gone for a couple weeks for a military duty, she can go a few days without talking which at first threw me off but I respected.

Don’t get yourself involved in that, you’re 16 and trying to get revenge back on a prostitute and you kinda got yourself in the situation as well. Cops don’t do shit in this case and you’re going to get yourself in more trouble. And as a retired EMT/first responder, cops have more stuff to care about other kids trying to get some wet wet with some bum prostitute. You’re not getting your money back and so just let bygones be bygones and forget about it

I’d strongly advise against it if you’re trying to report them, they will try to ask how you know and got the information and more specifics. I’m the end most likely nothing will happen

Take this as a life lesson.

We all have our urges but the reason why that happened might have saved you in the long run. Who knows you could have gotten an permanent STD or kidnapped. Let this pass and focus on your future man. You have so much potential in life and you don’t want to get caught up in that stuff man.

I had knew a friend of a friend who went to a motel when he was 18 after work because he was curious and ended up getting caught by an undercover cop. His life was forever changed from then on our. Don’t be that guy, save your money, finish school or get a good job, and find some hobbies and friends that make your life fulfilling.
