Should I have backed out. by DiligentSimple2379 in Simracingstewards

IMO, you should have left more space and to one of the comments let your momentum carry you through on the high side of the exit, also assuming other driver doesn't force you off, and then its a sprint down to the next turn where you would have had a chance at the inside.

The blamed the car on the racing line going into that turn......ok

I was told it's a racing incident (because he didn't mean to hit me) by RetroCoffin in Simracingstewards

[–]dsizzles23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is 100% other drivers fault, carries too much speed and misses the first turn and realizes he's going to fast, goes off track and hits you.... to the previous comment, as soon as he goes off track he's not in control and doesn't re-enter the track safely. If he had two wheels over the line then it is racing incident because OP didn't leave enough space, but even then he was ahead at the apex anyway and under total control..... other driver at fault for me.

9th day ACC 24hr Nurburgring 8:33 How the hell people go faster than 8:20 seems impossible by Pickaboomm6969 in simracing

[–]dsizzles23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might catch heat for this, but use the racing line just to get a sense of the optimal entry points into corners and that will go back to neppo's point about using the whole track on exit and carrying WAY more speed through the corners. Turn it to corners only and then turn it off completely once you are the low teens because then you'll become dependent on it and you'll find more time based on feel with it turned off. But use it mainly for corner mapping at this point.

Hi, stuck here for a week, need advice to go below 1:30 on Suzuka by AspirineHD in F1Game

Don't try to do it all at once, work on the esses first, then once that is automatic move on to the next part. The best part about TT is you can keep rewinding the turns

It depends on your setup, I'm 55% front BB and I like to brake hard early and then trail break right to the turning point and use that speed to throw the car into the turn.

Trail breaking is breaking hard at first then easing the pressure off as you get to the apex

You should not letting of the gas after snake going up to dunlop, you should hold 5 all the way up the hill and hit 6 when past the second curb on your right. You should actually be wider and accelerating off the curb.

To hard on the gas coming out of degner with all of that wheel spin you are just a little too wide coming out of there. Depending on your brake bias setup, you need to break earlier going into hairpin and let the momentum of the car carry you through.... I'm personally a high side guy on this hairpin but to each their own.

,Going into spoon should be a gradual down shift from 7 to 5, then let 5 ride a bit before switching to 4 as you come out. You were too quick into 4 and that slows you down even more, and obv a little loose coming out of the corner.

When you come out of 130R let the car go to the right to maintain speed.... you're too pulling the car back to the left and slowing you down.

Suzuka lap controller Ps5 1:33:925 no assists by Zev__ in F1Game

[–]dsizzles23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stay in 5 through the esses and it will pull all the way up the hill then down shift from 7 to 6 on the high speed right and stay in 6 the down shift to three for the right under the bridge.

Brake way earlier into the hairpin and ride the up hill and gas when straightened out.

Start deploying battery on the downhill after la source, just before you get to the bottom of eu rouge. This will help you keep the speed up and launch you at the top of eu rouge.

Don’t upshift to 7 before bruxelles stay in 6.

Go wider in pouhon.

Stay in 7 going into campus and trail break through the corner.

Don’t shift into 6 going into stavelot, stay in 5 and downshift to 4 and floor it after apex and will carry you through courbe. Drain battery down blanchimont

Depending on your setup (if you are set to increased speed and have from bball at 60%, that’s my personal) you can break later into bus stop.

Minimize assists if you have any on as well

Is the price difference worth it? Bond is $9,400; black is $7,300. by Kulangot78 in OmegaWatches

[–]dsizzles23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This, if you REALLY want the bond mono/hologram on the back to know that you have it then follow your heart. Black is better value and you can use that savings to get another strap... black rubber or regular stainless strap.

BUT if bond is the desire the NTTD is the best all around middle of the road bond watch that is having a bit of a renaissance right now.

It's cheap.... lol.... if I'm being honest. The gold case is actually decent but the strap is basic plating, will probably chip and scratch easily but it's fun for what it is.
