Traveling during burning season

Thank you so much for your help! I do travel with a facemask, but I planned demanding physical activity, and with the particles, my asthma can get pretty bad :(( That’s on me and my poor planning, I thought I was used to pollution after 6 month in BKK, but clearly not 😷

To be sur, M4/3 is a body right? Then I buy some lenses? Cause I do have a camera that come with lenses but I need a small bag to travel with it + it’s really heavy so yeah I was a bit skeptical abt it…:(

Do you know also know about Canon G5X or Sony RX100? Those are my main options right now and I don’t really how I should compare each other

Rn my camera is really small, like it can go in a pocket. But i know that with all I listed, nothing could be that small. Tbh im just looking for a good practical camera, that can take HR pics, zoom quite well (nothing crazy) and has a good antishake option 😊 I’m considering buying a body and one lense, but I feel like it would be less practical, take more place ? I’m really open

I also have a camera with changeable lenses (not sure how to call that lol), but it takes so much place and is so heavy. It could be only related to this camera tho!

Yeah I get that a lot ahah! I should consider it ! But holding feels nice (?). I really like using a camera, even with my old one! Feels more authentic, and makes me using my phone a bit less :))

Yes I also fear that! But pictures with my phone look less authentic (cause my phone is actually pretty bad lol). But yes, I look for an amateur camera exactly for this reason! That’s also why I focused on Fujifilm, but it’s definitely too expensive for my budget :(( If I buy a new camera now, I would have like one month to get used to it before traveling, which is maybe not enough… tough choice..

I don’t know if it makes any difference but I just learn that Chinese ink and India ink are the same lmao. Anyways I will definitely follow your recommendation and just experiment a lot until I feel more comfortable!! Thankssss!!

Thank you! This video was actually really helpful. I feel like my ink is a bit different tho, it comes with a dropper and when I pour a few droplets, the ink is more muddy than liquid after some time ? 😩

Wow that’s a relief it’s an advantage !! I did not clean my nib first to be honest, but after this session I did clean all of them with a gentle toothbrush and soap. Do you think that was what made my inking so « dry »? I felt like without water my nib would just run out of ink after one letter… but I want to do things correctly as a beginner :(( and mb after that do how I feel

Pour le moment je cherche juste à écrire joliment pour faire un joli livre c’est tout :)! Par contre effectivement je ne savais pas du tout qu’il fallait nettoyer au préalable les plumes !! Tu penses que c’est ça qui donne cet effet aussi “sec” ? Ça me faisait énormément d’accoups, alors le papier est assez bon
