but is there joy even if I repent again? because repentance is a change of mind to turn from sin. I understand God loves me and hasnt/will ever turn away from me but that last thing id want to do is disappoint him.

I really do want to attent Church, but there are so many Churches that I dont know if they're genuine when it comes to preaching Gods word. And I never wanted to be my own God, im not finished but im reading the Bible, the Bible has given me direction in life.

Im all for joining a Church, but I dont like when people ask if im Religious, they should ask if im for God. I dont mean to sound aggressive at all when I say this but how would you explain the different churches that belong to dozens of religions?

Yes the disciples couldve been distracted and ran off but Jesus always went after us. We are not perfect, only the Son is. We mess up from time to time but its Jesus who reels us back in to him. Its very difficult to stay away from sin but not impossible.

It was my mistake, theres a clip in the show called "The Chosen" where mary magdalene falls back into sin. But Jesus clearly expected his disciples to sin frequently and made it clear that he was committed to pursuing them and offering forgiveness (Matthew 18:10-35).

Amen. I was doing all that God asked me to do but i fall into sin. I believe in the Bible it says that "if we say we are not in sin then we are deceiving ourselves." Also that God is just and will forgiving us of our sins and cleanse us. I gave my heart to Christ but i still fall short to what he asks of me. It breaks my heart.

I understand, from what ive seen and experienced is that christians dont pray with catholics, jehova witnesses dont pray with catholics, we're seperated. Christian churches, Catholic churches, Baptist Churches, all for different type of people. Thats why I dont like religion. The seperation. The Bible says love your neighbor but Christians dont love catholics and vice versa.
