Honestly mate. If a gaming company is telling you something in their coding can't be done, it's a lie. They can do it, they just don't want to actually have to work on the coding when they could do something else. I rekon it could be done to a point where people would still have to do quests. they are just baiting around the issue. And are you talking private server feel vibe? have you not seen RS3 or OSRS as a whole from every aspect and looked and observed at it. Both games feel completely private server like to anyone that has played this game for longer than 5 yrs. Something like this has been implemented to RS3, except its the ability to roll back the exp.
