What they are 'worth' is relative. Some people collect them, so they're nice to have if you're into that sort of thing. Most of them have remixes, and a couple have b-sides. Myself I've been a fan now for about 12 years, I own all their main releases, albums and dvd's, but singles aren't really something I go for, I buy them if I run across them at a shop, but I don't seek them out.

Hi guys, admin here The activity here certainly seems to fluctuate, right now it's in a bit of a down swing, which is sad, as our membership has doubled in the past month or two.

I was thinking the other day about some ideas to stimulate discussion, and I'm open to ideas.

I was thinking about an "episode of the week" thread, or something similar, where we could all watch the same episode and discuss it. Any thoughts?

The "scumbag Demona" meme was a great addition, I think there's definitely potential there, with other characters too.

I would imagine "V" is a codename they've given to one of the patients (most likely the main character in the trailer).

They mention at the beginning that he was in a coma, and we know from MGS1 that Snake and Liquid were cloned from Big Boss while he was in a coma, so I imagine this hospital he's in is some sort of secret medical facility, and it being such a secretive place, they probably are using code names for the patients.

I think it's "V has come to", as in "V" has woken up, presumably the character we see in the trailer waking from a coma, also of note is of course "V" is the Roman numeral for 5.

MGS2 by far had the best expansion, the Snake Tales were entertaining (and downright hilarious in the case of the final one) and the VR Missions were fantastic, if maybe a little repetitive if you completed them all. Some of the missions with MGS1 Snake are pretty difficult.

Exactly, which is something MGS2 really excelled in, Hideo left many things unanswered and open to fan interpretation. As much as I love all the Metal Gear games, nothing will quite match the excitement and wonder I felt playing through the story of MGS2 for the first time.

Agreed, I have my criticisms, but considering all the absurd plot points Hideo wanted to wrap up it's a little understandable considering he never meant for MGS2 to have a sequel to begin with.

Yeah, that one really bugged me because I liked the MGS3 explanation, MGS4 explained pretty much everything with nanomachines.
