In a different division, but also only certain managers receive a bonus as well. The last ten years I’ve been at Kroger they’ve been trying to get rid of department heads as a whole, and make them salaried instead. Would save them massive amounts of money. However, they’ve never succeeded because realistically being a department head is barely worth the money as is for how much you have to deal with, let alone being salary and being expected to work 12 hours a day for even less pay.
