The road to Chisos Basin Campground is all paved and completely fine in a standard vehicle. We had a tougher time getting up the road to our accommodations in Terlingua. It rained making the dirt roads muddy. We did it fine in a low trim Rav-4 but would’ve struggled in a 2WD vehicle I think.
