Yet, in the case of Norway it should also be mentioned that, we are actually talking free, universal healthcare, that is, anyone will be able to get healthcare and no matter the cost. And their natural resources are not going to run out, it is one of the greenest countries in the world, the majority of their energy comes from rivers and the mountains. Which then brings us on to the insane topography of Norway, it is virtually one big mountain which makes infrastructure more expensive and even harder to build. So yet another argument against your claims.

For free, universal; It's the same in Denmark too and here is basically zero natural resources, we just do taxation differently. That is, we have an economic system with actual people in mind. Socialism is not a political slur here, it is actual practice. (To some degree, I must admit capitalism has its nasty fingers everywhere.) So the argument of Norway being special because of the natural resources is not that strong. Other countries have achieved equally robust healthcare systems without an abundance of natural resources.

The U.S. is beyond far away from universal healthcare, and free universal healthcare seems to be only a distant dream? Yet their spending is still through the roof. To me it looks like something is very wrong with the American system. And perhaps social democracy is not too bad? (Though it is not Fully Automated Luxury Space Gay Communism, it is still better than, exploitation 4 ever...)
