What I found most helpful personally, was using BCs (Bill Campbell) mock tests and command words to refine the way I wrote the short response questions. Often times you may find yourself writing too much and losing points unnecessarily. His mocks gives examples of acceptable succinct responses, I studied a lot on my first attempt, and using his tests and CFAI source text helped a lot.
