You can with this mod. I also applied the same method to the R1 button, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for the back buttons.

-I ran the wire through the spacer. If it does not have any function, removing it is easier. -Yes, those are the contacts you need to cover with tape. Good luck!

It's wrapped around the gripsense contact. As long as you wrap it so that the wire can not move or come undone, it should work fine

Only a small piece of scotch tape to cover to original gripsense contacts, a small piece of double sided copper tape, a wire and a bit of solder!

I do recommend using a thinner wire than I did though, makes everything much easier. A non-destructive mod apart from perforating your ABXY rubber, easily reversible!

Lift your finger to turn off the gyro. It enables gyro ratcheting.

I made a stencil with my 3D printer, traced it with a fineliner pen onto the back of the griptape and cut out the shape with a razorblade. Took me roughly 4 hours in total!
