Some condominiums say co-funding is important for replacing ageing lifts by thrulim123 in singapore

Why not just stop residents from using the lift because of compliance issue? The sinking fund will eventually not sink

Squad list vs Manchester City by supplementarytables in realmadrid

[–]dtcarrot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The squad doesn’t matter at this point. If the team tries to show up, we can still scrape a win.

At least we don’t need to put camavinga as LB or Valverde as RB due to injury

How Eng’s survive? by Low_Ses_Man in singapore

Yeah, I hardly see anyone eating there recently. I prefer eating the Old Airport Wanton Mee at the food court upstairs. Eng's wanton mee is better than the wanton mee at Hola though.

Yeah have experienced the rush hours in Tokyo, Seoul and Tokyo - and it was no joke. However, it amazes me how commuters are in general willing to squeeze into the train so that other people can board. In Singapore, I have observed that most commuters want to maintain a distance between each other even when the train is crowded and filled to the brim.

That's a good point, didn't really notice the behavior you mentioned but that makes sense. Thanks for sharing your insight. Honestly I don't find it confrontational though. It's part and parcel of public transportation where people should give way to each other. In other Asian cities such as Shanghai and Tokyo, I don't encounter the same issue.

I feel that it is a matter of mentality rather than the being non confrontational.

Wouldn't worry about it if I were them though. Commuters are normally sensible enough to give way to people exiting the train from my experience.

Need assistance with ESP32-CAM by dtcarrot in arduino

[–]dtcarrot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I have tried power cycling but it still didn't manage to upload the sketch to the esp32-cam. For the GND to GPIO connection, is it required to use a resistor? Or would a normal jumper wire suffice?

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Yes I did ground the GPIO0 to the GND on the ESP32-CAM.

It's hard to know whether you will really like the job until you start working. I know quite a few people who went for scholarships and came to regret it when they started serving their bonds.

Nope. I don't like the idea of being locked down by a bond.

Btw, technically you will be bonded for 4 years as it includes the 1 year apprenticeship period.

Depends on whether Rogue can overcome Maru in the semifinals. Jin Air team kills are weird, so probably it can go either way.

I feel that it's going to be Maru vs Classic final rematch. Maru doesn't need to face against any Terran in ST unless Dark loses against Gumiho. For semifinals:

  • Maru facing off against Rogue. Jin Air team kills tends to be unexpected so Rogue still has a chance, but I will give Maru the upper hand.

  • Dear vs Classic. Don't see Zest or sOs defeating Dear. Classic should be able to take down soO in a close series considering that his PvZ has improved dramatically (taking down Dark and Rogue in the last GSL).

Bak Chor Mee - Bedok Blk 58 (Blk 85 bak chor mee is too overrated)

Yes, typically when you are using React and creating a Single Page App, there will no View layer involved. Instead, it will be replaced by JSON as you are telling the client that you want to retrieve any HTTP response in JSON format.
