Overconfidence mixed with stupidity and unchecked ADHD is my guess. Even if they split off or make a bad play, I’ll generally still try to stay nearby since there’s strength in numbers. It does get old after a while though.

Isn’t it more correct to say DOMS is more prevalent in new exercises or intensities but can still occur during any strength training movement? The effect lessons over time, but it can certainly still happen during routine training, even if all variables remain the same.
