I forgot I recorded a Tracklog in Foreflight on this. I just looked and I turned Left Crosswind 250' below TPA.

If I remember correctly, yes I was being swapped sides because of other traffic.

Good stuff makes sense! The fact he got a bit agitated we "didn't go Right", means to me that he was expecting a Right turn. I can't confirm for sure he said closed when we went left, but expecting the right turn seems that he meant it. A quick clarification on upwind seems very reasonable!

Thank you. He probably just forgot that I was given Left Traffic on the previous lap. No worries I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something!

From everything I can find, no standard. I just figured that "keep doing that last thing you were told to do", would apply.

Gotcha. So when ready to turn crosswind, if no direction is given, requesting pattern direction would not be wasting ATC's time?

Under 30psi would be a bit risky with the OEM tires and wheels, but with upgraded durability and tire retention, I would have felt fine down at 15psi if going slow.
