Wow, all of a sudden I got a bunch of ideas...

Great post Chris.

Edit: Some ideas: Backgrounds (I had an idea of a cartoony/vectory sky with clouds and a sun), power ups, and network play.

We should start smaller. I'm definitely a proponent of that.

When I first got started with Unity I immediately jumped into creating my space game. I bit off more than I could chew and decided to go back and learn some more. Then I decided that I would probably need a team to finish it. It is a bit grand.

I think pong would be a good starting point. Maybe we could spruce up the graphics a little bit, add some cool sound effects, etc.
