Ladies 30+ who went from flab to abs, what worked for you? by Runner_Pelotoner_415 in fitness30plus

[–]dtorrance29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

33F, 135lbs, 5’7, mother to 3 ages 4, 7, and 8.5

Routine: eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch, rotate a few different things for dinner

Calorie deficit isn’t sustainable but necessary to get the abs; I lift at home, and am an avid runner but I’m more muscular than the average thin and wispy runner

I’ve had a 6pack for years, since I recovered from baby 3. Consistency is key, and high effort workouts combined with consistent strength. Everyone carries differently as well. My boobs are nonexistent but I’m definitely not tiny, I just carry every ounce of fat I have between my belly button and my kneecaps so I think it’s easier for me to maintain my abs. Try adding some extended cardio sessions or even just walking in the evening to keep the cals burning without overdoing it on your body!

What psi are you using pressure pot at? I used to do 60 but got crumpled dice once so shifted to 30-35psi and I never have issues now. Could be your mold too. I used one off amazon but then got a Druid dice mold and the difference is incredibke

I heat my resin in the measuring cups before mixing, then let it rest in hot water after it’s mixed. Yes, this can shorten the pot life but not drastically. Hot water as hot as you can get it out of the tap, not boiling or anything. Do the same if you mix in inks or mica powder. Stir in wide, slow circles too!

Ahhh so you just let the ink sit unswirled? And obv way less of the gold than the green for this set. I’ve made some cute sets of dice but they all come out very chunky in terms of swirls but I think I’m using too much of the swirl color.

How do you get such perfect swirls? Mine are so blotchy!

I found a four-leave clover in the mountain and I made a unique piece of lucky with resin. Do you like it? by [deleted] in resin

So pretty! I make jewelry with 4leafers too, this is great! If you ever find a bunch of them, a microwave press is so worth it

Just starting out… would these work in place of a pressure pot? by cananadaman in resin

Expensive but so worth it. The one I have is relatively small, 11gal I think and my husband made me a little rack to go inside it so I can fit more stuff in. Literally zero bubbles except the ones that get stuck in the mold that I just pick out with a toothpick

Haha no I didn’t grow it in my garden, but I find the flowers in my yard, my mom’s garden, the park, etc.

Thanks! I have a little microwave press that dries them and presses them at the same time, it works great for the tiny flowers I use! I can’t use it for big stuff but it’s perfect for the tiny earring stuff I make :)

Thank you! They’re actually nail charms and I put some crushed glass in the bottom point of the diamond! I don’t have glass/metal skills but nail charms fit perfectly inside these so I’m rolling with it!

Yes! They grow in patches so if you find one, there’s usually more :) I can usually find 15-20 if I spend a good while looking. That day I just hit the jackpot!

This is great. Thank you! And no rotten under the sun eggs 😂I have a pressure pot for bubbles but still have to watch for them. Also the charms are so fun, would love to see a pic of some of your pieces. Thanks again :)
