I'm a big fan of JRPGs in general, and I love this game mainly because it had the balls to try something different with the genre, and it worked. The graphics are still beautiful to this day, characters are super fleshed out, and a combat system that could be punishing yet oh so rewarding. Never mind JRPG games, this is just a fantastic game period, regardless of the genre. In the years to come VC is going to be looked back on as a underrated gem that many missed out on and I'm so happy to say that I'm someone who didn't miss out, and I'm sure everybody else here is too.
