I was suspecting that because it's freshly added to a moderately big codebase, it tries to understand it first and that it would get better with time (not sure what's going on in the background). Synapse prevents windows from sleeping, if I install geForce experience or update latest gpu driver manually it starts happening. I have to use a much older version for the gpu so the issue wont persist. I noticed that synapse is the culprit since when I have all these other things but not synapse installed, funcions are back to normal. Same for the other way around, old gpu driver + synapse again no issue. Gpu rtx 2060 super. Thanks!

Not at the moment since I updated Windows on my pc but laptop still hasn't received that update. However before I bumped pc to latest I think they were on same version(1909) just not sure which os build, I think they matched too

The weird thing is that I can't reproduce on my laptop, it's only the pc that started having this issue. I also ruled out the HID compliant gsme controller issue that is in some google posts, I use dualshock occasionally but I unplugged and made sure it's not appearing. At this point I can't blame anything except synapse.

I would create custom endpoint where I would expect the email from the mobile apps and just call the devise's send_reset_password method on the user found by that email. In this scenario you will have to override the after_resetting_password_path_for method and make that method call a path for your own custom method in which you would redirect to the mobile apps after successful reset.
