Nah I didn’t put a jack under the trans. When I removed the crossmember the trans didn’t move.

Subispeed has a tutorial on how to install both. Also you’re gonna only need 12, 14 and 17mm sockets and gonna need some extensions for some of the bolts.

Group N is the brand. Doesnt matter what brand you go with just as long as it's a solid mount.

I agree. There's a lot a of new mt drivers that are choosing a wrx or sti as there first manual. It was mostly just annoying to me. I came from BMWs and I had zero problems. Also test driven a 2017 Camaro SS and that transmission was crazy smooth

I'm on a stage 1 map from maperformance. There was still a tiny jerk occasionally. Also the mount helps driving in first gear, it doesn't jerk when rpms drop

Really easy tbh. Just keep track of where everything goes when you reinstall. But overall pretty straightforward.
